I’ve added a new link - Delete All. This allows you to delete all the guests from your event, while preserving your tables and layout. Hope this helps!

For each event, you can now use small tables, which means more space to put your seating chart together.
Here’s a quick video (1 minute) to show you how this works.
You now are able to add labels to your seating chart, to designate dance floors, doors, cocktail bar, etc.
As with most things, its easier to see how it works, rather describing it. View the super short New Labels video here.
Import process now replaces:
I also tried to make it clear on the import page that only numbers and letters are allowed in guest names. So hopefully that will help people along.
Lastly, for my wedding, I really didn’t need any non-letters/numbers characters in guest names. I’m not sure if that’s different for other people. Unless someone says otherwise, I’ll assume that to be case for you.
If you have guest names with ampersands, they will not be imported - which is really wrong.
I’ll correct it tonight (hopefully), and convert the ampersands to “and” words.
Sorry for any trouble. I’ve noticed that people have been problems with the import lately.
So I’ve been playing around and put together two new reports for your use. One is just a small cleanup of the original seating chart. The new (Option Three) is more of seating assignment.
Also, I’ve also added the ability to download a CSV file with all your table assignments. This will allow you to use your assignments in whatever other format you would like.
If anyone has any other formats or seating charts they would like to see please let me know.
If you’ve tried to import guests in the past few days, then you might have had some issues. Basically, it might have said something like “CSV Import Successful” but “0 new records added to data base” - which strange and wrong.
Well, I’ve fixed those issues, and now it should import guests with no problems.
Welcome the blog for fluidTables.com, aka yet another web application blog.
Hopefully this will be a place where you can see announcements for new features, reports of bugs and provide feedback.
